Early Morning Aquarian Sadhana – Song of the Soul
as taught by Yogi Bhajan

Date: January 7, 2012 Time: 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Facilitated by Margaret Trezza (401.219.6555)

This spiritual practice is open to all, and is free. There is no need to call to reserve your attendance. This is not a class but a time to practice your individual meditation within a group consciousness. According to the yogic tradition, the most precious and spiritually productive hours of the day are 2 hours before sunrise called the ambrosial hours. Yogi Bhagan gave a specific daily Sadhana to follow that includes yoga and meditation. But a combination of spiritual activities that work for you will benefit your well being.

Sadhana Format:

*Japji: We listen to Japji for 30 minutes. Japji was composed by Guru Nanak Dev (1469-1539). In short, it reveals the mission of human life: Japji is the opening prayer of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh sacred writings-his simple message does not belong to any particular religion, nor any particular time in history. His timeless message experienced in ecstatic song is for all, and is as vital today as it was when he first spoke the words from his deep meditative state.

*Kriya: (Yoga Set) and Relaxation- 30 minutes.

*Deep Meditation: Seven mantras to assist our Aquarian Age journey, as taught by Yogi Bhajan – 60 minutes.

*Closing: "Long Time Sun"

Sadhana, daily spiritual practice, is the base, the foundation of all spiritual endeavors.

Sadhana is your personal, individual spiritual effort.
It is the main tool you use to work on yourself to achieve the purpose of life.
It can be done alone or in a group.

Sadhana is whatever you do consistently to clear your own consciousness so you can relate to the infinity within you.

Before you face the world each day, do yourself a favor and tune up your nervous system and attune yourself to your highest inner self.
To cover all your bases, include exercise, meditation, and prayer.
