About Margaret
"Yogi Bhajan gave me my spiritual name - Amrit Kaur - which, in Sanskrit, means, ‘The Sweet Nectar of God.’ My name reminds me to project my essence from the sweetness of my soul." Margaret Trezza
Margaret's love for music began in kindergarten where she sat alongside her teacher on the piano bench as they both led the class in song. She memorized all of the songs and would sing them for her family. Margaret recalls asking her mom if she was able to hear the piano as she sang. Throughout her life she sang in church, temple and choir organizations, performed in plays and choruses. Margaret’s background includes ballroom dance, aerobics instruction, piano study, voice and choir singing. Margaret receives tremendous spiritual joy while chanting and singing Kundalini mantras as a part of her yoga practice. Margaret incorporates her passion for mantra music quite extensively as she teaches, resulting in a heightened state of awareness and deep meditation while exercising.
